It is Tulip Time !!! At least for some lucky gals!! I have received gifts of tulips and am reveling in their color and deep throats.

Y2 – Day 258 – Perspective
What you see in things, nature, situations and people can vary but once someone points out what they observe, think or understand, it usually lights up for you too. The fun is in showing someone else what you see and directing their attention to it. If and when they see it too, it becomes a bond and an “aha” moment!
I see a tiger face in the middle of this orchid my husband gifted me. And the tiger is sticking its tongue out. Do you see the ears at the top of the face and the mouth defined in dark bordeaux? Look for the spotted section in the middle.
On top of the tiger is what looks like a column and on top of that is a skull looking face with buckteeth. Below the tiger face I see two pink sea monsters passing each other in the night.
Stop to notice what is around you, like the clouds, night sky and the fine details.
A flower can be very entertaining to explore.

The rusty, bronze throats of these flowers unfold in a burnt orange furl and slowly pass into December.

Y2 – Day 329 – Thanksgiving Bouquet
Our November Celebration flower arrangement has lovely shades of autumn. There are ruby lilies, alstroemeria, protea and others!

Y2 – Day 328 – Cornucopia
I decided to hang this horn of plenty. It contains red and orange myrtle, brown sudan grass, preserved phalaris and pheasant feathers. It can also be displayed as a centerpiece on a table.
Y2 – Day 310 – Autumn Floral Bouquet
From our garden –
Orange trumpet bush which the hummingbirds love to gather nectar from, holly looking berries but not holly per se, amber grass, maidenhair fern, purple ivy bush (from our other house @ 20 years ago) and one white peace lily (obstructed).
Y2 – Day 291 – October Harvest Wreath
A harvest display of Fall colors decorate this lush and handcrafted wreath. Grapevine twigs form the circular base, then it is filled in with deep green wild salal leaves, orange dyed wheat and preserved, hay green colored tapestry millet. Then, it is accented and brightened with lotus pods, faux shiny berries and three ornamental, tiny pumpkins. The burlap ribbon finishes this beauty with a neatly tied up bow.
