Y3 – Day 340 – December Bouquet

I am ever so grateful. Amongst the turmoil, a bouquet from my husband arrived and a music box with a gold heart pendant as well. I am so lucky and cannot complain about the disaster that is my home now because it is suuuuch a quality issue.

What really matters is obvious to the eye that sees what the soul observes.

Y3 – Day 285 – Never Underestimate

A while back I heard a quote that I believe was attributed to Eisenhower, “Never underestimate the power of keeping your mouth shut.”

I believe how you say something is just as important as WHAT you say.

When you are committed to self growth and being of service to others, your words or silence is reliable as well.

Y3 – Day 62 – Nana

Yesterday, Nana passed away peacefully in her own bed, before sunrise. We all loved her very much. She was born in Queens, NY to a strong and stoic German woman and her carpenter husband. She was the youngest child and one of the most beautiful women I have ever met in person. She will be in our hearts always.IMG_3769R. I. P.

Y3 – Day 53 – Diamond Roses?

IMG_3753 An exquisite bouquet of rich red sparkly “freedom” roses arrived just in time for St. Valentine’s Day. I have never seen anything like this before. Each precious rose is blinged out in the center with a diamond rhinestone. The petals resemble velvet, the scent is like a romantic memory and the arrangement and vase it was delivered in at my front door is nothing short of class.
