At Bedtime – Every night, adopt one or more ideas and incorporate into your daily round.
1. Make a cup of herbal tea and sip. I love licorice with its naturally sweet flavor.
2. Review the day and your behavior. Do you need to rectify anything? Add it to a small pad and pencil you keep on your nightstand. Having writing material near makes it easy for recording dreams.
3. Curl up with a good book till your eyes get droopy.
4. Give Thanks to the Universe for keeping you safe and alive another day.
Structuring the day by bookending it with AM and PM habits gives us comfort and continuity. It grounds us, gives us roots and keeps us stable no matter what else is going on.
